(It didn't fit very well to put in a small description, so here it is!)
A long time ago, legend says that Melody City (as the name is confirmed by archeologists,) was a remote, peaceful town. There weren't very many Pokémon living there, but those who did seemed to have everything they would have needed: Food, water and safety from the dangers of the world. They even had a shrine, which they were suspected to pray too.
Since large cliffs surround it, the city had didn't likely have much contact to the outside world. So one day, when a young Pokémon returned to her home from vacation... she only saw rubble. No Pokémon, dead or alive, and burnt streets. Her city looked centuries old. Even the shrine to the Goddess of Music was destroyed.
Now, generations later, the old city has been overtaken by wilderness. Overgrowth covers the way there, although if a Pokémon could make it to the edge of the cliffs that surrounds the city, they could still probably get a good view.
It is a hard place to research, because the feral Pokémon who moved in are a bit tough. So now it is reduced to the mysterious rubble of a once-great city. And apparently... no one knows why.
